This is a collection of my art, the art of others and my opinions of the two. I could write more, but I like to keep things simple.

The Smoky Eye
The Smoky Eye
You have to admit, it is exhilarating to change your perceived identity with the flick of a makeup brush. Imagine going from a Plain Jane to an edgy and sophisticated Aphrodite by simply darkening the creases around your eye-lid. This technique, often referred to as a smoky eye, accentuates the features of the wearer’s iris and eye shape. This in turn, allows the wearer to become more seductive. So, why not enhance your inner temptress? Become the forbidden fruit that has yet to be plucked.
So how do you go about applying the smoky eye? |
Step 1: Apply eye primer to the eye. This allows for the shadow to last longer.
Step 2: Apply eyeliner on your lash line. The lash line is the part of the eye where your eyelashes begin to grow. Make sure you are gliding your eyeliner on the top part of your eye as well as the bottom. The goal is to have it look like a classier version of Captian Jack Sparrow.
Step 3: Apply either a white or baige color on the eyelid. Start at the crease and work you way up until you reach the brow.
Step 4: Take either a dark brown or black and using an angle brush gently glide it across the crease of your eyelid
Step 5: Take a lighter shade of brown, marron, or even a green, purple or blue (if you feel like being a little crazy) and blend in the color. In doing this you avoid having your eye maker appear choppy.
Step 6: Finally after you have blended your makeup apply mascara. I normally like to use Dior BlackOut. In my opinion, it really adds a dramatic effect to your eyeslashes.
Voila, you have your hot, chic look, that will make you the ultimate heart breaker around!
